If you love Etruscan revival and malachite, this is a great little ring that won't break the bank. Made in 14 carat yellow gold and set with the most gorgeous piece of malachite, this ring has been put together with a gold band attached to the top element, which was once likely a brooch. The conversion was made in the late 19th or the early years of the 20th century.
As you can see the band is not set in the exact middle of the ring, and while this might look odd, it actually allows you to decide if you want the head to sit further up or down your finger (perfect for stacking).
The band is marked 585 for 14 carat gold, the decorated halo surrounding the mapachite is gold, while the bar on which the gold band has been attached is not gold.

In very good antique condition general wear in keeping with age and use. The gem is in excellent condition.
