Wonderful and light 14 carat gold earrings in the shape of keys, set with bright lustrous seed pearls. Made in the late 19th century or very first years of the 20th these beauties still have their original back to front fitting - and original red silk box with black velvet lining.
Keys carry many meanings, they are symbols of power, secrets, love - but maybe most of all endings (close) and new beginnings (open).
