Very pretty mid-century trilogy ring in white gold set with a chrysoberyl cats eye and two diamonds. The white gold has a wonderful slightly peach colored tone, which contrasts beautifully to the green in the cat's eye. Both diamonds flanking the chrysoberyl are bright and sparkly. All gems are prong set.
Chatoyance, or cat's eye effect, is an optical reflectance effect seen in certain gemstones, in chrysoberyl it is cause by the inclusions in the stone and it gives off a shimmering. It shifts over the gem when you move it in the light.
