This gorgeous Art Nouveau brooch, made to look like misteltoe, is beautifully modelled in 18 carat yellow gold and set with pearls of different kinds (Including seed, baroque and bouton). Wonderful attention to details making it a well-balanced beauty with a luxorious matte sheen of bloomed gold contrasted by lustrous white pearls. The bottom pearl is attached so that it dangles like a dewdrop below the lowest hanging leaf.
The brooch measures 3.5 x 3 cm and weight 2.3 grams.
The clasp and pin has been replaced, new fitting attached with solder. Please see photos for details. General condition is excellent, minimal wear to the matte finish, only a little to the highest areas of the foliage, but this simply makes the leaves look more three dimensional.
