Sentimental ring in gold, decorated blue enamel to commemorate the passing of Ursula Blomberg, who died January 29th, 1783 at the age of 73. The late 18th century ring is navette shaped and it's front is covered with royal blue enamel, with an urn in gold as centerpiece. The back in engraved.
Ursula Bromberg was likely a wealthy Norwegian lady.
Modelled in 14 carat gold, the ring is in good condition for its age. It shows signs of wear as can be expected. Currently a size 8 US, but can be sized within reason.
And old sentimental treasure with a traditional motif that is quite striking and almost could be modern with it's clean lines.
